JMD is excited to welcome Krista Greer, PE, CFM to the team!  Krista joined JMD in June of 2019, bringing over 13 years of experience in the assessment and design of water resources engineering projects and environmental permitting to the group.  Her experience includes sediment and erosion control design and SWPPP preparation, stormwater management design and assessment, stream, floodplain, and ecosystem restoration, and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for riverine, floodplain, bridge/culvert, and stormdrain systems.  In addition to engineering design and modeling capabilities, she is also knowledgeable in environmental permitting regulations including SPDES, USACE Section 404/10 Waterways, NYSDEC Section 401, Article 15, Section 24 permits, as well as FEMA regulations. 

Krista is a has a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from Penn State University (2004) and a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Water Resources Engineering from Virginia Tech University (2006).  She is a registered Professional Engineer in New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland as well as a Certified Floodplain Manager.  She is a member of the New York State Floodplain and Stormwater Managers Association and the American Society of Floodplain Managers.
